trying to convince my wife why a PDA is a good thing

Nowadays, it's not all that hard to find someone who is into 'gadgets' or 'tech toys'. Going out and buying the newest bluetooth enabled toothbrush, or WiFi toaster.

Well, my wife is not one of those people.

Now, I have tried in the past, to get her into it. I've bought her those little $9.99 Radio Shack 'Pre-PDA' devices, but she would never use them. She's of the mindset that pen and paper is better. As a computer guy who syncs his palm pilot religiously, this was breaking my heart.

Well now, I have come up with a solution. I built her a PDA!

Introducing, the Handimate 4000XL

As you can see, this is truly a design of simplicity and function, in one remarkable device.

Here you can see the Stylus storage area, as well as the calculator application.

Here is a handy conversion application (seen on the left) as well as the calendar application (on the right).

Here you can see the address book, and the notepad application.

Here is the memory storage area. Amazingly, this storage area can hold Compact Flash, SD/MMC, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, and virtually any flash media device.

The possibilities with this are endless with this amazing creation.

Here's hoping she likes her new PDA...

And here's hoping I have a place to sleep come Sunday afternoon.
